Why look for any old Webmaster when you can look for a Friendly Webmaster?

Who Needs a Webmaster?

To Fix It

Most often, clients come to me to fix something that has gone horribly wrong. When you already have a Website and consult with a Web firm, 75% of the time they will not help you fix what you have. It is much easier for them to sell you a whole new site. It is never economically advantageous for them to spen 2-3 hours fixing what is wrong.

A Webmaster works in smaller chunks of time. I personally prefer to attempt to fix what is broken and then talk about the next steps for your business.

To Update Your Website

Recurring updates on existing Websites can become a pain in the neck. However a Webmaster is usually so quick and efficient they can do it in 10-25% of the time that it would take you!

To Upgrade Your Website

Perhaps a re-design is due or while we are at it, why not install a CMS with built-in search, RSS and blogging. The possibilities are large but I will only suggest the ones that will let you achieve your business goals. I work with ASP (10 years), Php (5 years) and .NET (1 year.)

To Move Your Website

I can move your Website to a better host (any platform). If you have been hosted for more than 2 years, you can save 75% on hosting by moving your Website and benefiting from better and faster service. I recently did this and went from paying 35$ a month to 5$ with [1and1]. There are less expensive packages, I personnally use a lot of developper tools.

To Upgrade Your Wordpress

You might need a Webmaster to upgrade and [safeguard Wordpress against spam and robot attacks]. I know that sounds somewhat funny but it isn't, really, look at this!

I have just begun testing Wordpress 2.5 RC1 but if you have not upgraded to WordPress 2.3.3 or don't know how to, please contact me.

So many more reasons...

Have you tinkered on a problem for more than a day and still no results? Don't you wish you could get that day back? You should always have a Webmaster on call.
